As of Monday, November 25, 2019, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) has 44 individuals felony and/or misdemeanor charges at the Prairie County Detention Center, located in Des Arc.

Recent arrest by PCSD ( does not include Des Arc Police Department or Hazen Police Department arrests) include:

• Jonathan Johns was arrested on Nov. 20 for Failure to comply, and Failure to Pay Fines;
• Carroll Ray Holmes was arrested on Nov. 20 for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Assault of  Family member, Terroristic Act, Endangering the Welfare of a minor, Disorderly conduct, Third degree Escape from custody,
• Glenn Hourston was arrested on Nov. 21 for Disorderly Conduct, 
• Nyla Ballard was arrested on Nov. 21 for Failure to Appear x 2,
• James Bernard was arrested on Nov. 21 for Failure to Appear,
•  Julie Lynn Roberts was arrested on Nov. 22 for Aggravated Assault, 
• Chris Cawthorn was arrested on Nov. 22 for a 90 day commitment;
