As of Monday, January 13, 2020, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) has 44 individuals felony and/or misdemeanor charges at the Prairie County Detention Center, located in Des Arc.

Recent arrest by PCSD ( does not include Des Arc Police Department or Hazen Police Department arrests) include:

• James Robinson was arrested on Jan. 7 for Two Failure to Appear and a Petition to Revoke;
• Mark Williams was arrested on Jan. 7 for Failure to Appear,
• Kable Walters was arrested on Jan. 8 for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Careless/Prohibited Driving,
• Michael Barrentine was arrested on Jan. 8 for Two Failure to Appear
