As of Wednesday, April 18, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department currently has two males in custody on felony charges, six males on misdemeanor offenses, no females were booked for felony charges, but two are being held on misdemeanor charges. 

Recent arrested include:

• Travis White was arrested on a felony furnishing prohibited articles and a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance charge. 
• Sedric Jackson was charged with a felony possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. 
• Stacy White was arrested on a misdemeanor failure to appear charge.
