Arrests made since April 25

As of Wednesday, May 1, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department currently has 35 individuals in custody on both felony and misdemeanor charges at the Prairie County Detention Center, located in Des Arc.

Recent additions include -- 14 males on felony, one male on misdemeanor, one female on misdemeanor and one female on felony -- charges. 

Recent arrests include:

  • Ronnie Dayberry was arrested on possession of methamphetamine or cocaine, which is a a felony offense along with possession of drug paraphernalia;
  • Mark Alexander was taken into custody on a misdemeanor failure to appear charge; 
  • Charles Rhodes was arrested for driving while intoxicated, no driver's license and drinking on highway, which are all misdemeanor charges;
  • Caleb Swiney was arrested on three misdemeanor charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and a failure to appear warrant; 
  • Bailey Burton was taken into custody on misdemeanor charges including: Speeding, reckless driving, no child safety equipment on site and endangering the welfare of a minor; 
  • Jeremy O'Neal was arrested on criminal trespassing and public intoxication, which are misdemeanor offenses; and 
  • Ronnie Roland was taken into custody on misdemeanor charges, which include: Contempt of court and contempt of court - no payment.
